S02E17 A Matter of Love and Death
Episode Overview
The episode kicks off with Risho pummeling Kuwabara, who struggles to wield his spirit sword. Meanwhile, Shizuru, Kayko, Botan, and Yukina are trying to re-enter the arena but are blocked by a demon security guard. They retaliate with some impressive moves, prompting a chase from more guards until they spot Toguro. Yukina is reminded of her past kidnapping, but Toguro surprisingly allows them to pass, eager for a rematch with Yusuke as promised by Sakyo. Back in the ring, Kuwabara grows overconfident, pushing Risho to reveal his true power. As the Master of Earth, Risho unleashes his Armor of Clay, encasing himself in earthen armor before crashing into the ring like a meteor. Despite the odds, Kuwabara stands his ground but ultimately recognizes he's outmatched and decides to channel his life energy, just like Yusuke did against the final Saint.
