Episode Overview
After a chat with Kayko, Yusuke is approached by Botan, who informs him that his Spirit Beast is about to hatch. Suddenly, Koenma appears, startling them both, and reveals a large egg to Yusuke. He warns that if Yusuke were evil, the egg would consume him entirely. When the egg finally hatches, the creature’s whereabouts remain a mystery until everyone notices it sitting on Yusuke’s shoulder. It’s a small blue bird with oversized floppy ears, prompting laughter from the others. The next day, the group observes the competition, where Team Uraotogi swiftly defeats Team Gokki 6 in just two minutes. Hiei and Kurama, both injured, watch from the sidelines, while Kuwabara suggests they visit Yukina for healing, unaware she is Hiei’s sister. This leads Yusuke and Kurama to tease Hiei about her.
