Episode Overview

In 1792 at the Palace of Versailles, Madame de Plonge wagers Colombine that she won't be able to charm the dashing young Marquis de Bonvie. Lisette, sensing a potential trap to embarrass her mistress, volunteers to take Colombine's place. Meanwhile, Colombine finds out that her older husband, Honore, has contracted the pox, and she cleverly decides to turn this situation to her own benefit.
