Episode Overview
Lambert is hot on the heels of a bank robber, but the suspect slips away, leaving behind a mocking note. Determined, Lambert pursues him, but a roadblock halts his progress. Selma reassures him that his credentials will help him through. However, the situation worsens when the female sheriff arrests Lambert, as an eyewitness falsely claims he was at the crime scene. With the sheriff's office lacking computers, Lambert finds himself in jail. Meanwhile, the robber decides to keep the game going by pulling off another heist, which inadvertently clears Lambert’s name. Taking control, Lambert rallies the sheriff to track down his adversary, but he learns the hard way about the dangers of obsession. Despite his efforts, Lambert's nemesis manages to escape again, leaving everyone wondering what it will take to catch him and how much more he will humiliate them both.
