Episode Overview
In 1918, after years of warfare, the British develop a groundbreaking weapon to end the deadlock. Private Chas Rowland, eager to see the conflict conclude and return to his family, enlists in the Tank Corps under Lieutenant Mould, stepping into the remarkable realm of the Niveleur, a Mark V tank. Set to participate in a significant offensive near Amiens, the Niveleur's crew comprises Fred Firth, a father longing to reunite with his kids; Private Dodds, a hardened soldier haunted by the loss of his brothers; and Mike Weston, a civilian mechanic drafted into service. To survive four harrowing days behind enemy lines, they must learn to collaborate. Will they succeed in ending the war and making it home?
