During a stormy evening in Sacramento, the Bradford household is thrown into chaos when a blackout leaves them trapped at home with Nancy’s blind date, who bears an eerie resemblance to Norman Bates. Joannie, who is currently studying "Psycho," finds the timing unsettling as her own date arrives, looking just like Tony Perkins. Meanwhile, Tommy and Elizabeth are convinced that “Perkins” is actually an escaped convict. Tom, set to debate population control, gets trapped in an elevator with Abby due to the outage. Meanwhile, Nicholas and Irving engage in their own secret agent antics, while Susan finds herself in a bind.
