Episode Overview

Merle enlists the girls to join a charity basketball team. Meanwhile, Tom feels envious when a publisher expresses interest in Abby's thesis while his own remains unaccepted. Once they resolve their competitive emotions, they decide to collaborate on his book together. Nicholas helps his friend’s mom secure a job assisting with the project, but his friend is taken aback to discover that his mom is working for Abby instead of the other way around.
