Episode Overview

Murphy, having just let another secretary go, struggles to find a story idea for Corky. Kay suggests the team take a break on the terrace, but they soon find themselves locked out when the door shuts and no one has a key. Jim is anxious for his dinner date with Doris, Corky regrets missing the White House tree lighting, and Frank is set to catch a flight to Costa Rica. Their chance to escape arises when Murphy's recently dismissed secretary returns, seeking revenge. While Kay believes their situation has a deeper meaning, Murphy remains skeptical. Meanwhile, a couple in a nearby building argues about their relationship, only to be inspired by a group on a balcony.
