Episode Overview

Title: John/Dionicio Plot: John, a dedicated flight attendant, finds joy in his work, yet his drinking habits are spiraling out of control. As a child, he felt overshadowed by his "profoundly retarded" brother, with his mother directing her blame and frustration towards him. This unresolved trauma leads John to severe alcohol abuse, resulting in blackouts and dangerous injuries, though he remains in denial about his condition. Meanwhile, Dionicio, shaped by an abusive upbringing, turned to a life of crime and substance abuse during his teenage years. Despite becoming a father, he struggles to cope with the responsibilities and now resorts to panhandling and heroin use.
