Mary, newly hired at the Fernwood jail, quickly finds herself in trouble with the matron after becoming friendly with Pat. Meanwhile, Wanda is taken aback to discover Merle and Lila sharing an intimate moment on the couch, leading to Merle's outrage upon realizing Wanda hired Lila to fulfill their desires. Cathy and Martha inform Harold Clemens of their plan to earn extra income by offering tours of the historical Shumway house. Additionally, Pat is haunted by a chilling nightmare where Garth mocks her as she faces execution in the electric chair, prompting Cookie to strongly encourage her to escape from jail.
