Episode Overview

It's the summer of 1932, a full year has passed since Morten handed over the hotel to Fie, but their paths have rarely crossed as he and Madsen focus on a significant construction venture in Copenhagen. Meanwhile, familiar faces flock to the hotel, including the Madsen family, Mr. Weyse, Mrs. Fjeldsø and her sister, office manager Aurland with his family, and the Frigh family—minus Mr. Frigh, as his ex-wife prefers his absence. Amid the tranquil atmosphere, affluent currency trader August Molin and his Swedish wife arrive, instantly catching Weyse's eye. However, Mr. Molin's fierce jealousy and hidden secrets complicate matters.
