Wholesaler Madsen is nearing a deal to acquire the inexpensive lumber suggested by Molin. However, Molin is frantically attempting to conceal his impending financial collapse; the timber he claims belongs to a client is actually his own, secretly purchased with the client's funds. Additionally, Molin must keep his stunning wife away from the charms of actor Weyse. In an unexpected twist, Amanda gets excited about a commercial idea featuring Weyse. Meanwhile, manufacturer Frigh hosts a croquet tournament, leading Edith to confront a former crush, while Fie's younger sister, Ane, reveals that everyone has their own hidden truths.
