Episode Overview

As Tripitaka and his followers rest, The Illiterate Vampire sneaks in, intending to bite Tripitaka. Fortunately, the disciples wake up just in time to scare him off. The following day, the group comes across a series of wanted posters; the king is offering a reward of ten gold pieces for each monster killed. Pigsy encounters a blind girl selling flowers and feels a deep affection for her. Determined to gather 100 gold pieces for her eye surgery, Pigsy decides to take up monster-hunting to raise the necessary funds.
