Monkey (1978)

Episode Overview

A kind-hearted monster decides to disguise himself as a puppy and refers to himself as "a good dog" in hopes of making friends. Eager for acceptance, he finds that the villagers are frightened of him. When the pilgrims reach the monster's land, Tripitaka encourages his disciples to approach him. After Pigsy, Monkey, and Sandy struggle to connect, it's Yu-Lung who strikes up a friendship with the gentle creature. Together, they devise a strategy to win over the villagers and help the monster find the companionship he longs for.
