An 11-year-old boy confesses to murdering a Hispanic classmate during a turf conflict at his elementary school, but Simone suspects he might be covering for someone else. Meanwhile, Eddie Reyna, known for his charm, discovers he is HIV positive and soon finds himself in danger from a former partner whom he infected. Additionally, Donna's sister, Dana, arrives for a visit, leading to tension between Donna and Medavoy as old family dynamics resurface.
