While Gai delves into Toshiko's murder, he finds himself confronted by the mind-switching contractor, who demands the return of his jacket. In a bold move, Mao attempts to snatch the jacket by swapping bodies with a crow, but his plan backfires, forcing him to return to his cat form. As the contractor uncovers Mao's true identity, the stakes rise dramatically. With Mao's life on the line, Gai must race against time to rescue him and eliminate the contractor once and for all.
