Episode Overview

Title: A Concubine's Dowry Plot: Kao Chiu relentlessly manipulates the young Emperor, surrounding him with sycophants and indulgent companions. Yet, the Emperor's spirit is awakening, and he finds himself enchanted by the beautiful courtesan, Li Chih. While Kao relishes this distraction, he grows anxious that the Emperor might soon lose interest in her. To counter this, he schemes to bring Feng Hsien, the daughter of a wealthy noble, to the capital as a potential bride. Unfortunately, her journey will lead her near the perilous Liang Shan Po. Meanwhile, Lu Ta and Shih Chin set off to the capital, intent on urging Li Chih to reveal Kao's treachery to the Emperor.
