Episode Overview
Seven years back, Ben represented Les Matthews, who stood trial for murdering his friend and business partner—and ultimately lost the case. Now, Les has been released on parole. While in the library, Wayne Lashley bursts in with his henchmen, Lipton and Foley. As Lipton and Foley keep an eye out, Lashley attempts to kill Les. However, during the altercation, Lashley is the one who ends up dead, leaving Les appearing guilty. Les is charged with Lashley's murder, and Ben is determined to defend him. He sends Tyler undercover in the prison to infiltrate the cellmate of the deceased. Tyler uncovers evidence that not only supports Matthews' innocence but also reveals who truly committed the murder for which Les was wrongfully convicted.
