Episode Overview

Years back, Ben helped Jason Hardiman with his divorce, and at Jason's request, he offered Carla a hefty sum to give up custody of their son. She turned him down and ultimately prevailed in court. Now, Carla struggles to make ends meet as a stripper. Jason confronts her at work, threatening to take their son, Jimmy, away from her. When Jimmy is found on the brink of death, all eyes turn to Carla as the main suspect. Tragically, he dies in the hospital, intensifying the investigation. Ben's attention shifts to a woman named Helen Shelly, but tracking her down proves difficult. Doug Templitt appears to be the only one with information about her whereabouts.
