Episode Overview

Katie Clark, a dynamic new prosecutor who just moved from St. Louis and hails from Atlanta, is tackling her first case. She’s set to prosecute a building contractor accused of murdering one of his workers, who also happens to be Katie’s ex-boyfriend. Although Matlock has concerns about her handling the case given their history, he ultimately decides to let her proceed. He’s impressed by her commitment to keeping her personal feelings about Gibson separate from her professional duties.
