Rachel, Jeri's sister, arrives in Atlanta seeking assistance after losing her nursing job. A doctor named Gray has accused her of making a mistake that resulted in a patient losing a kidney. When Gray is later found murdered, suspicion falls on Rachel, and she becomes the prime suspect. Matlock steps in to defend her against the serious charges.
