Matlock (1986)

Episode Overview

Matlock and Jerri visit the beach with Billy and Cliff, who is training for an upcoming triathlon. Upon arrival, Matlock unexpectedly encounters retired FBI agent Ed Wingate, who is working on his own investigation. While Matlock occasionally interacts with Ed, Cliff immerses himself in the competition, and Billy pursues Anita Montrose, the real estate agent who rented them their beach house. The situation takes a turn when a person linked to Ed's case is discovered dead, prompting Matlock to step in and defend his old friend.
