Antonina Jadwiga Siemaszko, born on July 14, 1970, in Chicago, is a talented American actress renowned for her diverse roles in film and television. She gained significant recognition for her performances in “Little Noises” (1991) and “The Saint of Fort Washington” (1993). Siemaszko is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Eleanor Bartlet in the acclaimed political drama series “The West Wing,” where she captivated audiences from 2001 to 2006.

Nina hails from a family steeped in resilience; her father, Konstanty Siemaszko, a Polish survivor of the Sachsenhausen concentration camp and a member of the Polish Underground, later immigrated to the United Kingdom, where he met her mother, Collette McAllister. Nina is part of a creative family, with her brother Casey Siemaszko also making a name for himself as an actor, while another brother, Corky, pursues a career in journalism as a Daily News writer and NBC reporter.

After honing her craft at The Theatre School at DePaul University, Siemaszko made a memorable appearance as an undercover cop in Quentin Tarantino's “Reservoir Dogs,” although her scene ultimately did not make the final cut, leaving her featured dialogue unheard. Additionally, she portrayed Mia Farrow in the CBS miniseries “Sinatra” and took the lead in “Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue,” showcasing her versatility and dedication to the craft of acting.
