Delroy George Lindo, born on November 18, 1952, is a distinguished actor with both English and American roots. Throughout his career, he has garnered numerous accolades, including an NAACP Image Award and a Satellite Award, along with nominations for a Drama Desk Award, a Helen Hayes Award, a Tony Award, two Critics' Choice Television Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.

At the age of 16, Lindo relocated to San Francisco with his mother, having previously left London and spent some time in Canada. It was in San Francisco that he completed his education and began his journey into the world of acting. Lindo has made significant contributions to the filmography of director Spike Lee, portraying notable characters such as West Indian Archie in *Malcolm X* (1992), Woody Carmichael in *Crooklyn* (1994), Rodney Little in *Clockers* (1995), and Paul in *Da 5 Bloods* (2020). His performance in *Da 5 Bloods* as a Vietnam War veteran earned him critical acclaim, along with the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor and the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actor.
