David James Atkins (born 11 October 1940 – passed away 23 April 2008) was a notable English actor, recognized primarily for his role as Sharkey in the film Britannia Hospital. He also played Moving Man No. 1 in Clive Barker's iconic horror film Hellraiser, released in 1987, and was well-regarded for his portrayal of pub landlord Les in the popular television series Men Behaving Badly.
Tragically, Atkins succumbed to heart failure in 2008, at the age of 67.
