David Zayas, born on August 15, 1962, is a talented actor hailing from Puerto Rico, renowned for his work across theater, film, and television. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Angel Batista in the acclaimed Showtime series Dexter, as well as for his role as Enrique Morales in the HBO prison drama Oz. In addition to his impressive career, Zayas has been married since 1998 to actress Liza Colón-Zayas; interestingly, he plays the husband of her character in the series The Bear, which has been airing since 2022.
