Marek Tadeusz Kondrat, born on October 18, 1950, is a distinguished former Polish actor and director with a rich legacy in film, television, and theatre. He completed his secondary education at Jan Śniadecki High School No. 30 in Warsaw and graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art in 1972. His acting career began at a young age with a notable role in the 1961 film "Historia żółtej ciżemki."

Kondrat's theatrical journey spanned several reputable institutions, including the Stanisław Wyspiański Silesian Theatre (1972-1973) and the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw, where he worked on and off from 1973 to 1988. His versatility led him to prominent theatres like the Ateneum Theatre (1992-1999) and Zygmunt Hübner's Theatre (2002).

He gained widespread acclaim for his performances in landmark films such as "Hotel Pacific" (1975) directed by Janusz Majewski, "Smuga cienia" (1976) where he portrayed Joseph Conrad under Andrzej Wajda's direction, and Krzysztof Zanussi's "From a Far Country" (1981). His later works include "C.K. Dezerterzy" (1985), "Pułkownik Kwiatkowski" (1996), "Day of the Wacko" (2002), and "We're All Christs" (2006). In recognition of his contributions to Polish culture, he received the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta in 2002.
