Ana Torrent Bertrán de Lis, born on July 12, 1966, is a prominent Spanish film actress renowned for her impactful performances. She made her acting debut at the tender age of seven in 1973, playing the lead role of "Ana" in the acclaimed film *El espíritu de la colmena* (*The Spirit of the Beehive*), directed by Víctor Erice. This early success was followed by her captivating portrayal of the younger version of the main character in Carlos Saura's *Cría cuervos* (*Raise Ravens*) in 1976.
Her career continued to flourish, and in 1989, she performed alongside Sharon Stone in *Blood and Sand*, directed by Javier Elorrieta. Torrent's remarkable talent garnered her significant recognition in 1996 when she received a Goya Award nomination for her leading role in Alejandro Amenábar's thriller *Tesis* (*Thesis*).
