She made her acting debut at the tender age of seven in 1973, playing the lead role of "Ana" in the acclaimed film *El espíritu de la colmena* (*The Spirit of the Beehive*), directed by Víctor Erice. This early success was followed by her captivating portrayal of the younger version of the main character in Carlos Saura's *Cría cuervos* (*Raise Ravens*) in 1976.

Her career continued to flourish, and in 1989, she performed alongside Sharon Stone in *Blood and Sand*, directed by Javier Elorrieta.
