Marc Dudicourt (March 6, 1932 – May 1, 2021) was a prominent French actor known for his versatile performances across theater and television. Born in Paris to an industrial designer, Dudicourt moved to the city with his family at the age of eleven. From a young age, he was captivated by the art of animation and aimed to be a designer, ultimately working in the studio of Jean Image. However, his natural charisma and humor led him to pursue acting, prompting him to enroll in the prestigious Théâtre National Populaire. There, he shared the stage with esteemed actors like Maria Casarès and Alain Cuny.

Following his time at the T.N.P, Dudicourt joined the Comédie de l'Est and later made a significant mark at the Villeurbanne theater, where he directed a production of Nikolai Gogol's "Dead Souls," spending six fruitful years under the mentorship of Roger Planchon.

Dudicourt gained widespread recognition for his role as Flambart in the 1971 television series "Les nouvelles aventures de Vidocq." Beyond acting, he was deeply committed to cultural endeavors, co-founding the ACE15 association, which organizes the annual Georges Brassens Days in Parc Georges-Brassens. Additionally, alongside his friend Rémi Gidel, he established "La Vie en Chansons," a non-profit dedicated to promoting French music and supporting emerging artists.
