Throughout her illustrious career, Bergen garnered significant acclaim, notably winning an Emmy Award in 1958 for her portrayal of Helen Morgan in *The Helen Morgan Story*. Her prowess on stage earned her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Carlotta Campion in the acclaimed 2001 production of *Follies*.
