Patricia Alphin

Patricia Alphin, affectionately known as 'Peaches', was a strikingly beautiful figure of 1940s Hollywood, celebrated for her soulful eyes and glamorous presence. Born in Burbank, California, she was the daughter of a motion picture sound engineer and grew up in a family of three siblings. After completing high school, Peaches embarked on a modeling career, participating in local beauty contests and promoting a variety of products, from bread to swimwear. With dreams of stardom ignited in her childhood, she gained a foothold in the film industry as a messenger in the mailroom at Universal-International, thanks to her father's connections.

In 1946, Peaches was signed to a contract as a budding starlet, but despite her captivating looks, she found herself primarily cast in minor, often uncredited roles throughout her film career. In 1949, she married Jack Moorman, a former football player and classmate, and they settled in Granada Hills, where they raised two children. The couple divorced in the mid-1970s. Later, as 'Peaches Moorman', she relocated to Oregon in 2006, where she channeled her passion into dance recitals, art, and history, embracing a fulfilling life away from the Hollywood spotlight.
