Jason-Shane Scott
Jason-Shane Scott is a talented American actor known for his impactful performances in both film and television. After completing high school, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting, immersing himself in rigorous training and also exploring modeling opportunities, which took him to Europe for several months. Upon returning to the U.S., he made his mark with appearances in films such as Shrieker, Until Death, A Turn in the Tree, Caught, and Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss. He also featured in Aerosmith's music videos for "Love Is Hard on Your Knees" and "Hole in My Soul."
In 1998, Scott secured the role of Will Rappaport, a troubled teen, on the daytime drama One Life to Live (OLTL), which prompted a move to New York City. His portrayal earned him recognition with two nominations for the Soap Opera Digest Awards: Outstanding Male Newcomer in 1999 and Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 2000.
After three years on OLTL, Scott returned to Los Angeles in 2001 to continue his acting career. He starred in notable films such as Wolves of Wall Street (2003), Latter Days (2004), and Starship Troopers 2 (2004). Additionally, he guest-starred on popular series including For the People, Scrubs, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Scott has also made guest appearances on The Young and the Restless and returned briefly to OLTL, with his latest appearance in September 2007, further showcasing his enduring presence in the soap opera genre.
