Raymond Pellegrin
Raymond Pellegrin (January 1, 1925 – October 14, 2007) was a distinguished French actor known for his remarkable contributions to cinema. Hailing from Nice, Pellegrin embarked on his acting journey with his film debut in the 1945 production "Naïs," which marked the beginning of a vibrant career.
Pellegrin gained significant recognition in France, particularly for his voice work, as he famously dubbed the iconic actor Jean Marais in the "Fantômas" film trilogy. His ability to bring characters to life through voice added a unique dimension to his artistry and endeared him to audiences.
In his personal life, Pellegrin married actress Dora Doll on July 12, 1949, with whom he had a daughter named Danielle before their divorce in 1955. He later married actress Gisèle Pascal on October 8, 1955, and welcomed another daughter, Pascale Pellegrin, on September 12, 1962, who would also pursue a career in acting.
Throughout his cinematic career, he was occasionally credited as "Raymond Pellegrini." His legacy in French cinema continued to endure until his passing in Garons. Pellegrin's contributions to film and voice work remain a significant part of his enduring legacy within the industry.
