Tantoo Cardinal CM is a distinguished Canadian actress, celebrated for her Cree and Métis heritage. With an impressive career spanning over five decades and more than 130 credits, she has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Earle Grey Award. In recognition of her significant contributions to Aboriginal performing arts in Canada, she was appointed a member of the Order of Canada in 2009. Her legacy includes her role as a founding member of the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company.
