Saul Rubinek
Saul Rubinek, born in 1948 in Föhrenwald, Germany, is a versatile Canadian actor, director, producer, and playwright. He gained prominence for his memorable roles in television, particularly as Artie Nielsen in Warehouse 13, Donny Douglas on Frasier, Lon Cohen in A Nero Wolfe Mystery, and Louis B. Mayer in The Last Tycoon. His film credits include significant appearances in Against All Odds (1984), Wall Street (1987), The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Unforgiven (1992), Nixon (1995), True Romance (1993), The Express (2008), Barney's Version (2010), and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018).
Rubinek’s acting journey began in theater, where he performed with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and Theatre Passe Muraille. He made his television debut in 1977 with Baretta. Notably, he directed his first feature film, Jerry and Tom, in 1998, which was nominated for the Sundance Film Festival's Grand Jury Prize.
