Adrian Morris
Adrian Michael Morris (January 12, 1907 – November 30, 1941) was an American film and stage actor, known for being the younger sibling of fellow actor Chester Morris.
In his early years, Morris participated in a family vaudeville act, showcasing his talent at a young age. Throughout his brief career spanning just a decade in Hollywood, he established himself as a prominent character actor, featuring in more than 70 films. His notable works include appearances in classics such as Dirigible (1931), Me and My Gal (1932), Bureau of Missing Persons (1933), The Big Shakedown (1934), The Fighting Marines (1935), and The Petrified Forest (1936). He continued to build his filmography with roles in There Goes the Groom (1937), Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), and the iconic Gone With the Wind (1939). His performances in The Grapes of Wrath (1940) and Blood and Sand (1941) further solidified his reputation before his untimely passing.
Morris's contributions to cinema and theater, marked by his diverse roles and memorable performances, left a lasting impact on the industry, despite his career being cut short.
