Plot

Mr. Morris runs a bustling department store and hires paroled ex-convicts, aiming to aid their rehabilitation. Among his staff are Helen Roberts and Joe Dennis, who fall in love. Despite Helen's parole restrictions, they marry, embracing happiness amid financial struggles. However, Joe's joy turns to disillusionment when he learns Helen concealed her criminal past to marry him. Heartbroken by the betrayal, he reconnects with his former gang, plotting to rob the very store that offered them both a second chance.
