Plot
Teenager Frankie Warren finds himself caught up with a wild gang in the slums, but a brutal fight leaves him knocked out. When the boys face trial, their loyalty leads to a sentence at a harsh reformatory, overseen by unscrupulous guards. Enter new deputy commissioner Mark Braden, eager to implement reforms and improve conditions. With the support of Frankie's sister, Mark faces challenges from within the institution that threaten both his plans for change and Frankie's hopes for a better future. As tensions rise, the fight for justice becomes increasingly perilous.
