Cy Kendall
Cyrus Willard Kendall (March 10, 1898 – July 22, 1953) was an American actor known for his extensive work in film. Over the course of his career from 1935 to 1950, he featured in more than 140 movies.
Kendall's imposing build, strong jawline, and resonant voice made him ideal for portraying tough characters. He often took on roles such as police officers, military personnel, wardens, bartenders, journalists, and gangsters, typically embodying the archetypal "wiseguy."
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Kendall left a significant mark on the film industry before passing away in Woodland Hills, California. His contributions to cinema during the mid-20th century cemented his legacy as a recognizable figure in Hollywood.
