Plot
An American soldier narrowly avoids execution by Japanese troops in Borneo during WWII and unexpectedly finds himself ruling over a tribe of headhunters. Influenced by the storytelling styles of Joseph Conrad and Rudyard Kipling, the narrative unfolds as he grapples with his newfound power. Although initially hesitant to engage in battle alongside a British commando unit, he ultimately rallies to defend his adopted community when the Japanese launch an assault. Driven by a thirst for vengeance, he must navigate his complex identity amidst the chaos of war.
