Plot
Professor Willingdon, troubled by the nuclear arms he's been developing, takes drastic action by stealing a warhead and threatening to detonate it in London unless the government commits to disarmament within a week. As he goes underground, Scotland Yard’s Detective Folland races against the clock to track him down. Meanwhile, Willingdon's daughter, Ann, joins the pursuit, determined to reason with her father and prevent a looming disaster. The tense cat-and-mouse chase unfolds against a backdrop of moral dilemmas surrounding the power and peril of nuclear weapons.
