Plot

Flik arrives at the Red Hook housing project in Brooklyn for a summer with his estranged grandfather, Enoch, a fiery preacher. Coming from a comfortable life in Atlanta, he feels out of place and isolated. Enoch's strict religious expectations add to his discomfort, leaving him yearning for connection.
