Plot

Amidst the chaos of World War II, a small English theatre buzzes with tension as a troupe prepares to present King Lear. With bombs falling and sirens blaring, the actor-manager Sir, portraying Lear, is mysteriously absent just an hour before curtain time. Norman, his devoted dresser, races against the clock to salvage the production. As Sir eventually arrives, he faces not only the pressure of performing but also a chance to confront his past and mend the frayed bonds with his cast.
