A Man Alone (1955)
Plot
Stranded in the desert, a lone gunfighter stumbles upon the gruesome scene of a stagecoach robbery, leaving all passengers dead. He decides to ride to town on one of the horses to report the tragedy but quickly becomes the prime suspect in the massacre. Matters worsen when he's also implicated in the murder of the town's banker. Seeking refuge, he hides in the basement of a house inhabited by the ailing local sheriff and his daughter, as tensions rise and the truth about the real killer looms.
