Plot
Royal Navy Captain Frederick Wentworth returns to his former love, Anne Elliot, after eight years apart. Eight years ago, she rejected him due to her father, the vain Sir Walter Elliot. Now, Wentworth visits the family’s seaside estate, rented by Admiral Croft, to help the financially struggling baronet downsize to a more fashionable home in Bath. Reunited under these circumstances, the old feelings resurface, yet both are hesitant to express their emotions. As they navigate the complexities of their past, the opportunity for reconciliation may slip through their fingers once again.
