Alice Maud Krige is a renowned South African actress and producer. She gained prominence with her debut film role as Sybil Gordon, a singer in the acclaimed 1981 film *Chariots of Fire*, which won an Academy Award. Her versatility as an actress is evident in her diverse roles across various genres. Krige is particularly known for portraying the Borg Queen in *Star Trek: First Contact*, a character she revisited in the series finale of *Star Trek: Voyager* and later in the attraction "Borg Invasion 4-D" at Star Trek: The Experience.

Krige studied psychology and literature at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, where she shifted her focus to drama, ultimately earning an honors degree.
