Plot
Mike Brannon, a decorated war hero, has transitioned to the world of midget car racing, where his cutthroat methods secure victories but earn him the disdain of fans. The tenacious reporter Regina Forbes seeks an interview but is initially repelled by his brash demeanor. After Brannon's reckless driving leads to a fellow racer's tragic death, Regina's scathing articles turn him into a pariah within the racing community. As she discovers him performing as a barnstorming daredevil in a bid for redemption, an unexpected chemistry begins to develop between them.
