Plot
Steve, a reserved executive at a shipping company, finds his mundane life shaken up when he meets the vivacious Dot at the opera, where she mistakenly claims his seats. The next day, she becomes his temporary secretary, infusing his routine with excitement. As their connection deepens, Steve realizes he prefers Dot's lively company over his dull socialite date, Cecilia. Complicating matters, Dot’s beau, Coffee Cup, is returning from the Navy soon and plans to propose. Caught in a whirlwind of affection and rivalry, Steve must navigate his feelings before it’s too late.
