Plot

Maggi, a young single mother, grapples with the challenges of raising her infant daughter, Lucy, while feeling the heavy burden of responsibility. Having matured quickly due to her circumstances, she relies on her supportive mother as she yearns for independence. When she meets Gordon, an older man with a stable job and his own place, Maggi is drawn to the prospect of a new life. After a fierce disagreement with her mother, she decides to move in with Gordon. As they strive to be responsible parents to Lucy, they soon realize that adult responsibilities are far more daunting than they anticipated.
