Plot
Set in 11th century Scotland, the film follows the ambitious warlord Macbeth, who is swayed by a foreboding prophecy from three witches and the manipulative desires of Lady Macbeth, his wife. Initially courageous yet plagued by doubt, Macbeth commits treachery against his noble king and loyal comrades. As he descends into a dark spiral of guilt and paranoia, he becomes ensnared in a relentless cycle of violence, leading him down a treacherous road from which there is no escape, marred by treachery and bloodshed.
